Pete was one of the Ford brothers, the other three being Heck, O.D., and Tom Ford. He was a very colorful character and was engaged in many, varied businesses such as service stations, raising bloodhounds, and procuring and distributing petroleum products from Peru for U.S. Armed Forces.. He also served as Supreme Chancellor of the Knights of Pythias.
